1. BOOKING FORM AND DEPOSIT.
To reserve the mobile home the client should complete and sign the booking form and return it together with payment of the non - returnable deposit being 25% of the total cost of the holiday. Following receipt of these the client will be sent a booking invoice as confirmation of acceptance of the booking.
2. PAYMENT OF BALANCE.
The balance of payment together with your refundable security deposit is due 6 weeks before the date of commencement of the holiday. If for any reason final payment is not received by the due date, the company reserves the right to give notice of cancellation in writing, and levy the appropriate cancellation charges. Reservations made within 6 weeks of the commencement date must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
3. CANCELLATIONS.
Cancellations of a holiday or part thereof must be
confirmed in writing. In the event of cancellation or failure to travel without
formal cancellation, the scale of charges is as follows:-
More than 42 days in advance of holiday - hirer is
responsible for booking deposit only.
28-42 days - 40% of total holiday cost.
14-27 days - 75% of total holiday cost.
1-13 days -
100% of total holiday cost.
No show - 100%
of total holiday cost.
In the event of a non-insured cancellation, refunds of the amounts paid minus the booking deposit will be paid only if the company is able to re-let the mobile home. Any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount.
4. INSURANCE.
It is a requirement that all clients arrange a
comprehensive travel insurance policy, including cancellation cover, and full cover for all the party’s personal
belongings, public liability etc, as these are not covered by the mobile home
owners’ insurance.
5.RESPONSIBILITIES & LIABILITIES.
a) There may be occasions where a booking may have to be altered, due to circumstances beyond our control, and we reserve the right to cancel, curtail or refuse any booking, or to alter cost, site or any other arrangements. In such circumstances the client shall be advised of the alterations of arrangements, and shall be entitled to withdraw from the holiday and receive a refund not exceeding the amount paid, but the company will have no further liability.
b) The client shall indemnify us against all losses
and or damage whatsoever arising, directly or indirectly from any act, default
or omission of the client or members of the clients’ party.
c) The booking is made subject to the terms and
conditions of the persons, firms and companies who provide the services
relating to transport, campsite, facilities etc. that we utilise.
We shall not be liable to the client for any loss, injury, damage, delay or
otherwise to the person or property or any other contingency which arises from
the acts, defaults or omissions of persons, firms and companies over whom we
have no direct control and who are not employed by us.
d) We are unable to accept responsibility for any
aspect of the holiday affected by matters over which we have no control,
including but not limited to war, or the threat of war, civil commotions or
strife, strikes, acts of God, and all events outside our control. If such
events delay, shorten or extend the holiday or compel a change in arrangements,
we cannot accept liability for any resulting loss, damage or expense.
e) The company shall not be liable to the client for
any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of services to the mobile home
or campsite, nor in respect of any equipment or appliance in the mobile home or
campsite.
f) The hirer is responsible for leaving the
mobile home and its equipment spotlessly clean, tidy and undamaged. Should the
hirer fail to do this and the company is forced to provide cleaners or repair
or replace items, the hirer will be charged the standard fee for the work to be
carried out.
6) CAMPSITE RULES.
a) During his/her stay on site the client and party
agree to abide by the campsite regulations. In the event of the failure of the
client to adhere to the site regulations we, without prior notice, reserve the
right to terminate the holiday contract at our discretion and require the
client to leave the campsite. We will not be liable in any way whatsoever
including but not limited to payment of any compensation for the shortened
holiday in the event of such termination.
b) For reasons of security and the peace and
quiet of our holidaymakers, the campsite barrier is locked to motor vehicles
from 23.00-07.00 in high season.
7) COMPLAINTS.
In the unlikely event that the client has a complaint
concerning any aspect of the holiday, he should immediately inform our
representative, who will do everything possible to resolve the problem at the
time. If however the problem cannot be resolved, no complaint will be
considered unless we are notified in writing within 14 days of the client’s
departure from the campsite, or if the client failed to notify our site
representative at the time.
8) FACILITIES.
Those taking a holiday outside the peak period benefit
from substantial savings. However, one of the reasons for this is that site
owners may not open all facilities outside the peak season, and organised activities and entertainment are often restricted to
July and August.
9) EQUIPMENT.
All mobile homes are equipped with an essential
inventory for 6 people, but as they are privately owned these may vary. You
will need to bring your own linen, towels and sleeping bags/duvets. Pillows and
some blankets are available.
10) ARRIVALS / DEPARTURES.
a) CLIENTS MAY ONLYTAKE POSSESSION OF THE MOBILE HOME AFTER 3.00PM AND MUST
VACATE THE ACCOMODATION BEFORE 10.OOAM IN RESPECT OF SATURDAY TO SATURDAY
HOLIDAYS. FOR OTHER DURATION HOLIDAYS, ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
MUST BE DURING RECEPTION HOURS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE MANAGEMENT.
CLIENTS ARRIVING AFTER 10.00PM MAY BE REFUSED ENTRY UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MORNING
UNLESS OUR SITE REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN INFORMED, IN ADVANCE, OF THEIR LATE
ARRIVAL.
b) The accommodation must not be occupied by more
persons than stated on the booking form unless by prior agreement with the
company.
11) SECURITY DEPOSITS.
a) A £100 security deposit will be added to your final
invoice to cover any breakages, or cleaning which may be deemed necessary by
our support team after your departure. This will be refunded in full or part
within 1 month of your departure.
b) The client should report to the site manager within
2 hours of arrival, any defects or omissions in the mobile home and/or its
equipment. After this period the client will be held responsible for any
defects or omissions found on their departure.
12) PARKING.
Each emplacement has parking space for one car. If
your party has a second car it will be necessary to park it in a designated
parking area and there will be a charge added to your final invoice. Please
advise us when booking if there will be an additional vehicle.

ALLOWED ON THE CAMPSITE.
