Talmont, listed as a historical landmark, has kept it's traditional feel since 1284 when Edward the first set up closed city planning. The small village on an outcrop overlooking the sea, is a typical example of old France. With it's one-lane cobbled streets, flowers lining the houses and the church looking across the estuary. In the heart of the village you will find various little shops selling their wares and tiny cafe's to stop for an afternoon coffee.
